Therapist for Pastors

Yes. As CRPO-registered therapists, we operate under strict clinical confidentiality that is separate from any church governance structure. We do not report to your elders, board, district superintendent, or denomination. The usual legal limits apply (risk of harm to self or others, child or vulnerable adult protection), and those are the same for any Ontario therapist.

Our team works with pastors and ministry leaders often enough to know the rhythms. We get elder meetings that run long, the 10pm phone call, the Sunday-morning pressure to be on, and the loneliness of a role where your identity and your job are hard to separate. You will not need to translate your world.

No. Our therapists are Christians who hold Scripture and clinical care together, not against each other. We are not here to give you a lecture. We are here to help you carry what has become too heavy to carry alone. Elijah asked to die under the juniper tree, and God sent him food and rest, not a sermon.

That is often exactly why pastors come. Therapy is a room where the unspeakable can be spoken. Doubt, burnout, marriage strain, hidden habits, resentment toward the work. All of it can land here without consequence to your role or your family. Our confidentiality is built for this.

Yes. Many pastors prefer virtual sessions for privacy, especially in smaller communities where a car in a therapist's parking lot could raise questions. We serve pastors across Ontario by secure video. In-person in Burlington is also available if you prefer it.
