Your Story Matters – Because Mine Did Too

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. Maybe you’re struggling to feel like yourself, wrestling with grief that seems unbearable, or watching an important relationship slip away. Perhaps you’re a new mother drowning in feelings no one prepared you for, or you’re facing a life transition that’s left you anxious and uncertain.

I understand, because I’ve been there too.

A Journey Shaped by Personal Experience

My path to becoming a psychotherapist began in my own childhood. Growing up with a father who was very sick taught me early about life’s challenges and uncertainties. But it also showed me something beautiful – the transformative power of having people walk alongside you during difficult times.

Throughout my struggles, mentors from my church listened to me, prayed with me, and helped me process my emotions while keeping God at the center. They showed me how faith and emotional healing work together, creating a foundation that sustained me even through my father’s eventual passing.

These experiences shaped who I am today: someone passionate about being that supportive presence for others.

Where Faith Meets Professional Care

As a registered psychotherapist, I blend evidence-based therapeutic approaches with the wisdom and comfort of Christian faith. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful this integration can be – not just in my own life, but in the lives of countless clients who’ve found hope and healing in our work together.

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can:

  • Explore difficult emotions without fear of being labeled
  • Discover and build upon your God-given strengths
  • Learn practical coping skills that honor both your mental health and spiritual well-being
  • Process life’s challenges while staying rooted in faith

Areas of Expertise and Experience at

While I work with a wide range of concerns, certain areas hold special meaning for me:

Grief and Loss – Having walked through profound loss myself, I understand the unique pain of grief and the importance of having someone who truly listens as you navigate this journey.

Couples and Relationships – Whether you’re preparing for marriage or working to strengthen your existing relationship, I help couples step back from the heat of conflict to understand what’s really happening beneath the surface.

Maternal Mental Health – As a mother myself, I know that when your first child is born, guilt is often born with it. I’m passionate about supporting mothers through postpartum challenges that too often go unspoken.

Life Transitions – Change can shake our foundations, but together we can find steady ground and discover how God might be working through these transitions.
